Rapid Deployment Resilience Service (RDRS)
Given the recent activities of the “Just Stop Oil” protestors, and the ever-increasing hostile environment we find ourselves in, coupled with the need for additional short notice security and support staff, SES has created a newly formed Rapid Deployment Resilience Service (RDRS).
SES holds extensive experience in deploying large numbers of security staff to support incident management and resilience for major incidents / events. We are exceptionally proud to have managed and deployed the security for HM Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee summer party, and her State Funeral. We have also deployed security staff for other high-level events, for example New Year’s Celebrations in London.
We can deploy experienced incident managers to your site to conduct initial assessments and work closely with you to provide risk mitigation and prevention. Providing experienced support to help in areas such as;
- increase to patrolling of landside/airside, and public areas for signs of undesirable activity e.g., protester / terrorist / criminal activity, and / or any areas of identified security weakness
- additional visual presence to reassure, deter and detect
- extra security staff to bolster access and agrees areas if required
- additional monitoring, resilience, and security support
Working closely with police authorities and focusing on available specific intelligence from the security services on what areas/buildings which will most likely be targeted, we are able to rapidly deploy security staff.
Our RDRS can be tailored to meet individual customer requirements.
